To capture the grandeur of one of Boston’s most beloved landmarks, we deployed two purpose-built FPV platforms optimized for their respective environments. A 5-inch open-prop drone handled the dramatic exterior dive on the Copley Square facade, delivering the speed and cinematic sweep the building’s scale demanded. Inside, we switched to a 3-inch ducted cinewhoop — a quieter, propeller-guarded platform safe for sensitive indoor spaces — to glide through the library’s storied interior and sun-drenched courtyard, revealing the architecture’s intricate detail in a way no traditional camera movement could match.
